Transportation Information

Bus System:
The Fairbanks North Star Borough provides the Metropolitan Area Commuter System (MACS) bus transportation throughout the City with routes between North Pole and Fairbanks.  North Pole is on the Green Line. Roads and Rails:
The Richardson Highway and the Alaska Railroad pass through the city linking the city to the rest of the state and Canada. There are five privately-owned air strips in the vicinity and Fairbanks International Airport is nearby. Borough Bus System, Taxi, and Van Tran for qualified persons ( Senior Citizens, Disabled Residents)
